SPECIAL METALS NI-ROD® 44 ERNiFeMn-Cl .035" Dia Cast Iron Filler Metal comes on a 30 lb spool and provides high-speed, high-quality welds. This solid, nickel-iron-manganese wire offers deposition rates as high as 18 lb per hour and travel speeds up to 50 inch per min for use in robotic welding. Filler metal having tensile strength of 100000 psi can be used for automatic or semi-automatic welding of ductile, malleable as well as gray cast irons in all positions. It gives the wetting and crack-resistant weldability that allows steel forgings as well as castings to be re-designed in less expensive ductile iron and welded automatically.
