The INZECTO Mosquito Trap is a trap that kills Aedes mosquito larvae. The larvicide, pyriproxyfen, kills larvae that hatch from eggs flooded by rainwater entering the trap. INZECTO Mosquito Trap is used to kill larvae, thereby preventing the emergence of adult container-breeding Aedes mosquitoes that may transmit Zika, dengue, or chikungunya virus to humans. The secret of the Inzecto Mosquito Trap lies in the patented coating inside that slowly releases pesticides, killing Aedes mosquito larvae. The trap is designed for female mosquitoes to enter and lay eggs. Can be used in conjunction with other mosquito management methods.
