The Specialized X2 Series Battery delivers powerful, reliable energy for the Levo 4 and Vado 3. Two capacity options let you choose what's most important for your riding style — maximum range with the 840Wh, or lighter weight and nimble handling with the 600Wh. Both options are part of Specialized's integrated e-bike system, engineered for seamless communication with the motor and display.

840Wh vs. 600Wh — How to Choose
The 840Wh gives you maximum range — ideal for all-day epics, backcountry adventures, and riders who don't want to think about battery life. The 600Wh is lighter and makes the bike feel more nimble — ideal for shorter rides, technical trails where a lighter bike matters, or riders who prefer to charge more frequently. If you're unsure, the 840Wh is the safer choice for an e-MTB.
Parts Sold Separately — Don't Forget These
The battery is the core unit, but mounting hardware is sold separately. For Levo 4: L-bracket required (S246800005 for 840Wh, S256800030 for 600Wh). For Vado 3 840Wh: top handle assembly (S256800045) and battery cover also sold separately. Make sure you order the correct mounting parts for your bike — the battery won't mount without them.
Vado 3 — 840Wh Only
The Vado 3 is compatible with the 840Wh battery only — the 600Wh option is not available for Vado 3. This is likely due to the Vado 3's frame geometry and battery compartment design, which may not accommodate the smaller 600Wh form factor.
