Satin Nickel Rear-Pin Oval Closet Rod KitThis listing includes a satin nickel rear-pin oval closet rod kit with matching end brackets. The oval rod design provides a clean, streamlined appearance suitable for residential closet applications.Heavy-Gauge Steel ConstructionThe oval steel rod measures 30mm x 15mm (approx. 1 1/4" x 5/8") and is manufactured from heavy-gauge steel. Each rod includes a protective peel-off coating to help prevent surface marking during handling and cutting.Rear-Pin Installation for Modular WardrobesThe end brackets feature two rear pins designed for wardrobes with 5mm predrilled holes. Installation is performed by pressing the brackets into the panel openings. Rod height can be adjusted by repositioning the brackets into different hole locations.Secure Fit and Bracket DepthEach rear pin includes four tapered ridges that help create a snug, secure fit when inserted. The brackets project 1/2" from the mounting surface, providing additional tolerance during rod sizing.Optional Wood-Cleat InstallationFor installation over traditional wood cleats, the rear pins may be used to mark pilot hole locations. Drill 5mm (13/64") pilot holes and secure the brackets using the included screws. Fasteners are concealed once the rod is installed for a clean finished appearance.Installation NotesWhen cutting the rod to length, applying painter’s tape before marking can help improve visibility and reduce burrs. These rear-pin brackets are intended for solid mounting surfaces and are not recommended for direct drywall installation.
