5 Oz Heavy Body Historical Hue Acrylic Paints Color: Alizarin Crimson Hue

GOLDEN HEAVY BODY ACRYLICS are known for their exceptionally smooth, thick consistency that retains brushstrokes and palette knife marks. With no added fillers, extenders or opacifiers, the inherent qualities of each pigment take center stage. The result is cleaner color mixing and a range of sheen and opacity across the line - from glowing, transparent colors ideal for glazing to dense, opaque colors providing excellent coverage.

• A modern version of historical Alizarin Crimson, which was a substitute for Rose Madder, a dye use for the British Red Coats. Our mix of Quinacridone and Phthalo make this exceptionally lightfast and strong tinting, with a deep reddish brown undertone like the historical color
• ASTM Lightfastness I (Excellent); Transparent; Pigment(s): PR122 (Quinacridone), PY150 (Nickel Complex Azo), PG7 (Chlorinated Copper Phthalocyanine); Vegan
• EXCEPTIONALLY SMOOTH, THICK TEXTURE retains brushstrokes and palette knife marks
• FORMULATION - Each color is formulated uniquely depending on the nature of the pigment resulting in a range of sheen and opacity across the line
• Made in the USA with globally sourced materials by an employee-owned company with more than 40 years of experience making paint for professional artists
