HOW TO USE: To truly enjoy the sweet aroma of this oud, RELEASE the essential oils without burning the wood. ● THE GOLDEN RULE: If you smell a "smoky" or sharp scent, the temperature is too high. The wood should release a sweet, vanilla-like fragrance. ● ELECTRIC & TEALIGHT BURNERS: Place the oud chips on the burner, then apply the heat to allow the resin to melt and collect at the bottom of the wood. Start on medium. After 15 mins, if the scent is faint, slightly increase the temp. If it smells sharp, lower it. ● PRO TIP: If your burner has no temp control and runs too hot, place a small piece of tinfoil on the burner plate and place the agarwood on top. ● CHARCOAL: Bury the charcoal under a layer of ash, then place the oud on top. A method used by Buddhist monks.
