Atago Grill

The extremely robust and outdoor-suitable Petromax Atago is an absolute all-rounder and can be used as a grill, oven, stove or fire bowl. Thanks to the stepless air supply and temperature control, cooking and grilling under the open sky succeed in new quality!

Ready for use with just one handle
Due to the unique folding mechanism, the Petromax Atago is ready for use with just one handle. And just as quickly it is folded up again. With a height of only 15 cm when folded, it can be stored excellently and space-saving.

Effective heating with the "chimney effect"
The highly sophisticated design of the Atago makes it possible to make optimum use of the chimney effect. By means of the continuously adjustable air supply, the temperature can be regulated as desired, while a maximum opening ensures an exceptionally fast heat-up. In addition, the round recesses in the material ensure optimal ventilation.

Unique two-cylinder design
Due to the double-walled design, the Petromax Atago is not only a special eye-catcher, but also stores the heat inside so effectively that the outer cylinder hardly heats up even during prolonged operation.

Numerous options
Charcoal, charcoal briquettes and firewood are suitable for firing up. The Atago offers the following three modes of operation:

... as a grill
The Petromax Atago can be used quite classically as a grill, fired by charcoal or briquettes. A matching grill grate is included.

... as a stove or oven
The Petromax Atago can also be used with the Dutch Oven or wok. To do this, simply place the cast iron fire pot (e.g. the Petromax ft3, ft6 or ft9) on the glowing briquettes in the Petromax Atago. The Atago encloses the fire pot and thus ensures an optimal heat yield in combination with the cast-iron fire pot. The wok, on the other hand, is placed directly on top of the round opening of the Petromax Atago. The Atago can be expanded to a convection oven: With the help of the additionally available convection dome you can prepare pizza.

... as a fire bowl
After the Petromax Atago has been used to prepare food, a cozy campfire for the evening can now be lit directly in the Atago. The round shape makes it particularly easy to pile up firewood and brushwood in a pyramid shape.
