Their BD.dry 2.5-layer construction uses a 110 gsm two-way stretch nylon face fabric with a PFAS-free DWR finish to balance packability, comfort, and wet-weather protection. The shell is rated to 10,000 mm waterproofness and 10,000 g/m2/24hr breathability, giving it the performance to handle steady rain, gusty ridgelines, and shifting forecasts. Stretch fabric and underarm gussets help preserve mobility, making it easier to move naturally when the route involves climbing, hiking, or quick travel in rough terrain. A climbing-helmet-compatible hood, YKK Aquaguard center zipper, adjustable cuffs, and adjustable hem help keep coverage secure once the weather sets in. DWR-treated pit zips add ventilation for warmer efforts, while two zippered hand pockets handle small essentials during the day. Their Fineline also packs into its right-hand pocket with a carabiner clip loop, and at 320 grams it remains an easy shell to stash for travel, day hikes, and alpine objectives.
