Bore Size 1/2'' Shaft Collar Carbon Steel Material Double Split Set Screw Suitable for Machinery and Industrial Use (8, 1/2'')

High Strength and Durability: Carbon steel has high strength and hardness, allowing it to withstand significant pressure and load, making it suitable for heavy machinery and high-stress environments. Ease of Installation and Removal: The double-slit design allows the bushing to slide onto the shaft more easily, reducing the difficulty of installation and removal, especially in tight spaces or hard-to-access areas.

• 1. Superior Holding Power and Rigidity: The combination of the double-split design and hardened set screws creates an extremely secure grip. The collar clamps uniformly around the shaft, minimizing distortion and providing excellent resistance against axial loads and rotational slippage, even under high vibration or torque conditions.
• 2. Precise and Repeatable Positioning: These collars allow for micron-level accuracy in axial placement on a shaft. Once the set screws are tightened, the position is locked firmly, ensuring consistent and repeatable location of bearings, sprockets, gears, or other components.
• 3. Easy Installation and Adjustment: Unlike one-piece solid collars, the double-split design enables installation and removal without disassembling surrounding components. They can be easily slid onto the shaft from any point and adjusted to the exact required position before final tightening, saving significant time during assembly and maintenance.
• 4. High Strength and Durability: Made from carbon steel (often case-hardened or black-oxide coated), these collars offer high tensile strength, excellent wear resistance, and good corrosion protection for general industrial environments. They are suitable for heavy-duty applications.
• 5. Cost-Effectiveness: They provide a robust and precise clamping solution at a competitive price point, making them a standard and economical choice for a wide range of machinery, from motor shafts and conveyor systems to agricultural equipment and linear actuators.
