100% Organic Cotton Terry Pile Towels
The purest organic cotton terry towels that are completely chemical-free and sweatshop-free. Made by Rawganique in Europe from our custom-woven 450g luxuriously heavy 100% organic cotton terry. Our organic towels are completely untreated & chemical-free, 100% biodegradable.
Sizes: Wash Cloth (11”x11”), Hand Towel (15”x25”), Bath Towel (30”x50”), Bath Sheet (30”x64”), Body Wrap (50”x76”); Grand Set (1 Wash Cloth + 1 Hand Towel + 1 Bath Towel); Double-Layer Bath Mats 17”x24” and 21”x34”.
Offered in natural, dye-free & unbleached. Hypoallergenic.
Some of the smaller sizes may feature a hemp edging around the perimeter, from a single production run when organic cotton edging tape was unavailable. - Raw and untreated. Since cotton has natural oils, and we don't use chemicals to strip them off the fiber, it will take a few washes before the towels become fully absorbent - but they surely will, with a bit of patience.

Care: Special items need special care. Machine wash separately in warm water, using a mild biodegradable detergent. Hang, or lay flat to dry. Don't use the machine to dry. To avoid linting & pilling: Do not use bleach - oxygen whiteners are OK. Do not use fabric softeners. As we do not use chemicals and acids to stabilize our yarns and fabrics, linting and pilling may occur in the wash. This is normal and expected and does not affect the performance of the organic towels. For this reason, please wash your towels separately from other garments or use a laundry mesh bag.
Note: It may take a few washes for the terry yarns to reach full absorbency. Cotton fibers contain natural oils, and since we don't use chemicals to strip them off the yarn, they're left to wear off over time with exposure to sun, oxygen & water. This is nature at work - not a product defect. Have no doubts, they'll become highly absorbent with a bit of patience. If this bothers you, take the issue up with the creator of the cotton plant. To us, it's appalling to see cotton textiles in stores that are fully absorbent from day one, wrinkle-proof, stain repellant, don't lint, last practically forever, with colors that never fade, etc. - that's all those chemicals at work that the planet and especially textile industry workers in poor countries suffer under. We don't want to be part of that, and we are proud to present our 100% raw natural, untreated, chemical-free products even if they don't have those too-good-to-be-true properties.
