Casual Ladderback Bench

The Casual Ladderback Bench from Jonathan Charles is a charming, double-width seating solution that translates traditional English country style into a relaxed, modern aesthetic. This bench features a classic ladderback design with a unique twist: each horizontal slat is hand-shaped with a distinctive triangular center, creating a rhythmic and airy visual profile. The frame is treated, offering a sun-bleached, coastal feel that softens its historic roots. Topped with a plush, neutral upholstered seat and supported by an intricate network of fully turned stretchers, this bench is an inviting addition to a farmhouse dining table, an oversized mudroom, or at the foot of a bed.
