Christmas Moss - Vesicularia montagnei - on Bonsai tree

Christmas Moss Bonsai Tree
Vesicularia montagnei

Bring a natural forest aesthetic into your aquarium with this handcrafted Christmas Moss bonsai tree. Featuring lush Vesicularia montagnei, this piece mimics the layered, triangular growth pattern of evergreen trees—perfect for creating a miniature underwater landscape.

Each bonsai is carefully assembled using premium driftwood and densely attached Christmas Moss, giving it a full, mature canopy right out of the box. Over time, the moss continues to grow and thicken, enhancing the tree-like appearance.

Why you’ll love it:

• 🌿 Natural bonsai look – creates instant aquascape focal point
• 🌿 Dense, healthy moss growth – already established and attached
• 🌿 Low maintenance – thrives in a wide range of conditions
• 🌿 Great for shrimp & fish – provides shelter and biofilm grazing surface

Care Requirements:

• Lighting: Low to medium
• CO₂: Not required (but enhances growth)
• Growth Rate: Moderate
• Placement: Midground or focal point

Pro Tips:
Trim regularly to maintain the clean “bonsai canopy” shape and encourage thicker, more compact growth.
