Churchill® Makapuu Classic Malaysian Rubber

The Churchill® Makapuu® Floating Fins are the ORIGINAL swimfins trusted since 1936, first invented by Owen Churchill for the U.S. Navy and still the #1 choice for bodyboarders worldwide nearly 90 years later, redesigned for 2026 with a new comfort-focused mold featuring rounded heel strap edges, a smoothed drainage hole underside, and a softer natural foot pocket to eliminate irritation and chafing, while the patented Dolphin Tail split-blade design channels water more efficiently for more thrust per kick, faster wave entry, stronger hold, and reduced leg fatigue; manufactured in Malaysia using 100% premium natural rubber for the perfect balance of stiffness for power and flex for comfort, the 2026 Makapuu® also features size-proportional blade lengths for balanced flex and control across every size, an updated reduced-diameter drainage hole engineered to flush sand and debris while preventing toe snag in heavy surf, and is available in five sizes (S / M / ML / L / XL), with sizing up recommended for those between sizes for the most comfortable fit.
