Complete Book of Guitar Technique

This book represents an all-out assault on jazz guitar technique written by legendary jazz guitarist Sal Salvador. Virtually every aspect of the plectrum-style technique is addressed in detail through explanatory text and clearly focused exercises. This book also features a comprehensive presentation of short and long form scales and arpeggios, string skipping, and tremolo exercises, slur studies, cross-picking techniques, and scale and interval reading exercises in all keys. Bach transcriptions for plectrum-style guitar provide an unexpected bonus. In standard notation only. Read more
