Cytal Carbon Road Helmet

The POC Cytal Carbon road bike helmet is the culmination of our relentless pursuit to optimize performance and safety. The helmet features an integrated carbon wing that not only enhances ventilation and the venturi effect but also ensures a more even distribution of impact forces across the whole helmet.

Using production methods currently only seen on luxury sports cars, POC has integrated a carbon wing into the helmet, enhancing its aero properties, keeping weight low and supporting more even impact force distribution across the whole helmet.

The introduction of new modelling and simulation methods during the design process opened up new possibilities to test designs and push what is possible in a helmet, in terms of balancing speed, safety and performance. The result: a new approach to what keeps you safe.

The helmet is more open at the front, improving air entry into the helmet for better ventilation and reduced drag. An adjustment system spanning from the temples and around the back of the head makes it easy to find a secure and comfortable fit.

• OPEN AIR ENTRY PORTS: The more open air entry ports at the front of the helmet allow for improved ventilation and airflow around the head.
• ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM: The size adjustment system spans from temple to temple around the back of the head, keeping the front more open for better ventilation while also ensuring. a secure fit.
• LIGHTWEIGHT: The helmet is lightweight, tipping the scales at 250g in a size M.
• LIGHTWEIGHT PC SHELL: The exterior PC shell is molded to the helmet liner for enhanced structural stability.
• OPTIMISED EPS LINER: The EPS liner is optimised for performance, giving extra protection in the zones it is needed most.
