  • Vintage Collectible State Plate, New Mexico, Wall Plate, The Land of Enchantment, Home Decor, Mid Century Souvenir, Travel Memorabilia, (Discontinued)
  • Made in USA
  • Vintage: 1950's
  • Details:  This is a beautiful plate, and part of a very large Souvenir State Plate Collection made in the 1950's by Homer Laughlin, Vernon Kilns, Salem China Co and others.  This plate is unmarked but after reviewing plates from several manufacturers, we are pretty confident this is an unmarked Homer Laughlin plate.  The plate has a beautiful rose/pink border with gold floral filigree over.  It has the name "New Mexico" in a red old western font and underneath "The Land of Enchantment".  This is the state's official nickname, originally given in 1941 by the tourist bureau because of the state's scenic beauty and rich history.  The center of the plate shows several points of interest in that state.  This is a great addition to a state plate collection.  Great gift for someone moving to the state of New Mexico, or a birthday gift for someone born in that state.  Or collect them for yourself for states you've visited or lived in. We also carry: Nevada, North Carolina, Maine, Oregon and Virginia.
  • Material:  Ceramic
  • Dimensions:  10.0 inches in Diameter
  • Condition: Vintage - Used.  Very Good Condition.  There is a scratch on the border on the right side but not very noticeable unless the light hits it just so.  Also there's a little gold paint on the back of the plate.  These were souvenir plates and not considered high quality, they are really in great condition considering their age.  There may be other issues as acceptable due to age/use/wear.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are not NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
