DESTIN: A JOHN STRIKER NOVEL

John Striker was once the most powerful tech mogul in the world—a man whose artificial intelligence innovations made nations tremble and corporations crumble. But three years ago, everything changed when he had a supernatural encounter with Jesus Christ that shattered his old life and forged him into something entirely new. Now, traveling across America with nothing but a backpack and an unwavering faith, John arrives in Destin, Florida, on a mysterious assignment from God. His journey there has been marked by a cross-country motorcycle trip on a custom Harley-Davidson CVO—a gift from a grieving friend—collecting dealership patches and touching lives at every stop. But Destin is no ordinary destination. Within hours of his arrival, John finds himself at the center of a spiritual maelstrom. Ed Oberman, the wealthy and ruthless "Big Kahuna" of the Emerald Coast, sees John as a threat to his carefully constructed empire of influence and manipulation. Ed's goddaughter Chase, whom he has been exploiting in a web of moral compromise, becomes both a pawn in Ed's schemes and a soul desperately in need of rescue. When Ed's rage nearly kills his own best friend, Dr. Mike Phillips, John must navigate a treacherous landscape of deception, spiritual warfare, and redemption. His powerful AI system—still embedded in the global web—protects him from Ed's attacks, but John knows that true victory can only come through the transforming power of faith. As days unfold, John's presence catalyzes miraculous healings, broken relationships restored, and hardened hearts softened. An Air Force Captain named Hunter Green finds both purpose and love. Chase discovers her true identity and reclaims her given name, Rebecca. Even Ed Oberman, the most unlikely candidate for redemption, begins to crack under the weight of his own guilt and the inexorable pull of grace.DESTIN weaves together themes of spiritual transformation, the battle between good and evil, and the radical nature of Christian faith lived authentically. Dr. Philip Zimmerman has crafted a novel that is both a gripping thriller and a profound meditation on what it means to surrender everything to follow Jesus. With its richly drawn characters, authentic Florida Panhandle setting, and deep engagement with Scripture and Catholic/Christian spirituality, DESTIN offers readers an immersive journey into a world where the supernatural breaks through the ordinary, where redemption is always possible, and where the greatest power on earth is love. And it all starts at sundown on a beach in DESTIN!
