- Lets Cats In and Keeps Dogs Out - The Door Buddy Cat Door Prop is the easy, convenient, and secure way to keep door cracked open for cat to go in while also keeping it narrow enough to keep dog out of room (if slightly larger than cat).
- Effortless to Use - Simply turn the knob or handle from either side to open the door and enter the room. It can't get any easier than that. Nothing to manually latch and unlatch every time you enter the room. Relatching in the propped position is even easier... just push or pull the door closed until the Door Buddy Door Latch Holder automatically latches onto the door plunger. That is it!
- Simple Installation, Non-Permanent & Portable - Remove the existing strike plate from the door jam and replace it with the Door Buddy strike plate using existing screws. The Door Buddy Door Holder for Cats does not require any adhesives, cutting, or making new holes in your door, making it removable, reusable, and the perfect solution for renters and travelers alike. The result - a dog proof cat litter box in seconds.
- Adjustable Width - Our patented strike plate and door latch holder allow you to adjust the width of the door opening to keep the door ajar between 3 - 5.5 inches so you can customize it to the exact sizes of your pets. Simply loosen the little screws, slide the two pieces to the desired width, and fully tighten the screws until it locks and no longer slides. T8 Torx tool is provided in the product package.
- Strong, Durable & Pinch Free - Made from thick, high-quality materials making it strong and durable so it will stand up even to big and determined dogs. Finally, a pet, dog, cat door stopper where there is no "movement" when in the propped position which means no pinched fingers, tails, and no getting locked in or out of rooms.
- No Cut Cat Door - Door Buddy's adjustable door latch lock is the best cat door interior door alternative that gives cats back their space! No need for complicated child door locks or to cut out a kitty door. Stop fighting a bulky baby gate or a pet gate with cat door. You can't get an easier door holder to keep door open / ajar than this!
- Patented and Made in the USA - Door Buddy Pet Door Prop is patented (#11591836), small business owned, parent-invented, and made in the USA. And; unlike cheaper, less durable, imported, and copycat pet door holder options, Door Buddy is the original, is affordable, and made with high-quality materials. Give Door Buddy a try today and see for yourself why thousands of pet owners have loved and trusted Door Buddy Door Latch products since 2015.
- Compatibility: 1. Works with standard left and right swinging interior doors 1-3/8 inches thick. NOT compatible with thick exterior, pocket, barn, or accordion doors. 2. Works with standard strike plate with screw holes 1-5/8 inches apart. 3. Not suitable for wide/extended door frames. Measure screw hole to front of door frame. Must be less than 1-3/8 inches (images in listing below). 4. If there is a wall/cabinet/appliance right up against the door opening, it may not leave enough gap for chonky kitties.
