Echinodorus cordifolius ‘Marble Queen’, AKA Marble Queen Sword, is a large aquatic plant known for its marbled leaves. Its primary light-green color displays a mix of green and cream tones to add pops of contrast and texture to planted aquariums.
Like other Echinodorus, this plant will grow large over time, making it best for larger aquariums, ponds, or open-top setups where it has room to spread out and fully develop. As it matures, it can easily become a focal species or centerpiece plant.
Marble Queen is relatively easy to care for and adapts well to a range of aquarium conditions, making it an ideal introductory aquatic plant. It prefers nutritious substrate and benefits from regular root feeding due to its extensive root system.
It's worth it to note that Sword plants produce large leaves and can shade surrounding plants if left untrimmed. Overall, Echinodorus cordifolius ‘Marble Queen’ is a hardy, statement aquarium plant that adds vibrant foliage and natural coverage to larger planted aquariums.
