Everwilde Farms - 1 lb Perennial Lupine Garden Flower Seeds - Gold Vault Bulk Seed Packet

Once established, this lovely perennial will not disappoint with vibrant violet-blue hue. The elegant spikes are much larger than the native Wild Lupine and are easier to grow. This plant grows so vigorously that it can almost be invasive in the right conditions. The name Lupine comes from the Latin "lupus," meaning wolf. This refers to the folk belief that this plant took nutrients from the soil. Ironically, this plant actually improves the soil because of its nitrogen fixing abilities.
