Exo Terra Repti Glo 2.0 Fluorescent Bulb

The most important feature of a fluorescent lamp is the ability to emit sufficient UVB light, a component of sunlight. The Exo Terra Reptile Glo 2.0 provides full spectrum daylight. The 2% UVB light promotes Vitamin D3 synthesis for optimal calcium metabolism. The 25% UVA light stimulates appetite, activity and reproductive behavior. The T8 (25mm/1" diameter) bulbs function as a general light source with high visual light output, and a very high color rendering index (CRI) of 98. The Reptile Glo 2.0 has 6700 K colour temperature. The low UVB output is suitable for snakes, all amphibians, nocturnal animals and plants. It is a perfect complementary light to a higher output UVB bulb to boost visual light. Note that fluorescent bulbs do not provide sufficient heat and therefore require a separate heat source. Available in 7 sizes;
