Despite the overwhelming acceptance of skin skis for high expectation performance cross country skiing there are still some diehard, grip-wax-or-die skeptics. The Fischer Twin Skin Carbon Pro is our offering to those diehards. The modified Twin Skin material is slippery and glide friendly mohair and is reconfigured to be wider and shorter to maintain grip while enhancing glide. By far the major performance contribution is the renowned 902 camber design. Recognized as a versatile flex type with great glide, the wax pocket has a capacity to keep the skin material from dragging during the glide phase yet still deliver solid grip. Be prepared to change your mind.
- Twin Skin mohair inserts can be replaced when worn out
