The Gaggia for Illy Plus is a beautiful machine, featuring a glossy exterior made of durable ABS plastic and simple, straight forward push-button controls. Engraved with an Illy flower design, the panel on the front has a unique cup holder and drip tray that can be positioned two different ways. You can lower the drip tray to accommodate taller glasses, or raise it to fill smaller cups.
Gaggia for Illy comes in a compact size to fit most spaces, but it packs a major punch similar to machines twice its size. A 15 Bar pump and stainless steel boiler on the Gaggia for Illy Plus creates consistently hot beverages. Making your favorite beverage with the Gaggia for Illy Plus is simple. Just insert the iperEspresso capsule into the machine and press the brew button. Fresh espresso will arrive instantly to your cup! Once your espresso is made, the Gaggia for Illy handles clean up, too, by automatically disposing spent capsules into a dedicated container that holds up to 12 capsules.
Additionally, the Gaggia for Illy Plus has dedicated on/off, cup-volume, and steam controls. And even better, the cup-volume is programmable, and allows you to adjust the amount of espresso brewed, guaranteeing the perfect cup every time.
Our favorite feature of the Gaggia for Illy Plus is the steaming and frothing wand. Most single-serve machines do not have steaming and frothing capabilities, but the Gaggia for Illy Plus has an amazing integrated Pannarello steam wand and hot water dispenser. This makes water or milk-based beverages like cappuccinos and lattes or teas a breeze to prepare. Plus, the wand can swivel from side to side, allowing for easy cup placement. They really did think of everything with this innovative, single-serve espresso machine.
