GARDEN ROUTE BIRDING: a new approach to birding in Southern Africa (Birding in Southern Africa: By habitat Book 1)

This new approach to birding is region and habitat/sub-habitat specific and will provide the birder with the means to (i) identify a specific habitat/sub-habitat (with illustrative photographs and floristic characteristics) and will then provide (ii) a short list of bird species that can be found there, with (iii) a short practical description of each particular bird species. Readily available reference books can then be used for photographic and further information. The popular tourist destination - the "Garden Route" - is the first of SA regions published as part of 15 series eventually planned to be published in this manner. Read more
