GDI - Hanko 2-3 Person Indoor Traditional Steam Sauna - Canadian Red Cedar Interior (GDI-7202-01)

The GDI Hanko Traditional Sauna is designed for those who value the "old school" sauna experience—high heat, adjustable humidity, and that unmistakable scent of natural wood. Unlike infrared models, the Hanko uses a traditional electric heater with lava stones to create a deep, enveloping warmth.

The Authentic Nordic Experience
The GDI Hanko brings the spa to your home with a focus on durability and traditional performance. It’s built for those who want to reach higher temperatures (up to 190°F) and enjoy the ritual of pouring water over hot stones to create therapeutic steam.

Why Choose the Hanko?
While infrared saunas are great for gentle warming, the Hanko is for the heat enthusiast.
* The higher heat levels promote intense sweating and deep pore cleansing.
* Custom Humidity: By adding water to the stones, you control the moisture levels—something you can’t do in an infrared cabin.
* Timeless Design: Its clean lines and rustic wood finish complement both modern gyms and traditional home aesthetics.
Note: Because this is a traditional high-heat unit, it typically requires a 240-30 Amp dedicated circuit. We recommend consulting a licensed electrician for a seamless installation.

Steam heat the air, IR penetrates the pores and heats the body. IR is proven as far more effective as far as healthy outcomes are concerned.
