How To Keep Your Culture

When you first get your culture it will not contain any adults flies. These will start to emerge after a few days if your culture is kept at room temperature. A slightly higher temperature will speed up development of the flies but shorten the overall life of the culture. Likewise, a slightly lower temperature will keep you culture active for longer but it will take longer for your flies to start to hatch.

When it comes to feeding, simply tip the adult flies into the enclosure with your pets, or use a specialised fruit fly feeder.
