Hens & Chicks (Sempervivum) | Stonecrop Perennial - Local Pickup Only

Hens & Chicks are a classic plant for growing in hot, sunny areas that receive little water. They are the ultimate "thrives on neglect" garden plant. They can be grown in nearly any medium, including on rocks with small cracks/dimples they can attach roots to.

Sold in a 4" Pot. Variety may vary. Sold by the pot, ordering one (1) will ship you one (1) pot, not the three (3) pictured.

These plants have a tight spreading habit where the mother plant (Hen) sends offshoots (Chicks).

You can expect a unique flower spike in late summer which most often bares yellow flowers. While this splash of colour is pleasant, these plants are not typically grown for their blooms.
