HIC Kitchen Pierced Stainless Steel Colander

A heavyweight pierced stainless steel colander built for the daily essentials — washing produce, draining pasta, blanching greens, even sitting over a pot for steaming. The pierced bowl drains faster than mesh and shrugs off heavy use without flexing.

Available in 2 qt (8.75" bowl, ideal for berries, herbs, and pasta-for-two portions) and 5 qt (10.25" bowl, sized for family-batch prep).

Features

• Heavyweight 0.5mm brushed stainless steel — sturdier than mesh, fast-draining
• Pierced bowl handles routine kitchen tasks without flexing
• Footed base elevates contents above the sink so foods don't sit in liquid
• Reinforced double handles for safe lifting full of hot or wet contents
• Doubles as a small steaming basket over a pot of boiling water
• Brushed finish minimizes visible water spots
