Zorua is a Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation XNUMX. It is the base form of Zoroark. Since Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it has had a regional form called Hisui-Zorua, which has Normal and Ghost types.
Zorua once settled in Hisui after being expelled from other regions where people feared their illusions. They became extinct when faced with the harsh conditions and Pokémon of the Hisui region. It is said that Zorua's anger at this reincarnated it as a ghost Pokémon.
Hisui Zorua is characterized by white fur and intense yellow eyes. The dense fur on the head, around the neck and on the tail, the tips of which are colored red, is particularly striking. It stores a malevolent power in its long fur. It pours this into ghostly illusions, with which it can also pretend to be its counterpart. It frightens intruders into its territory in order to absorb their fears.
