Type 201 Stainless Steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel that has been fully annealed. It is nonmagnetic when it has been annealed. It can become slightly magnetic if it has been cold worked. Use with ISO Type 201 BU254 buckles or ISO Type 201 WS154 wing seals. • Type 201 is the standard in banding and fastening for general applications. Type 201 won’t oxidize and is corrosion resistant except in the most demanding environments and is harder & stronger than either Type 304 or 316 stainless steel
• Each coil of band is stamped with a 4-digit code that can be traced back to the test certificate that verifies its authenticity and compliance with ASTM standards. From hash tag (#) to hash tag (#) on the band is 12 inches and serves as a handy measurement point
• Use with ISO Type 201 BU254 buckles or ISO Type 201 WS154 wing seals. Each coil of band is stamped with a 4-digit code that can be traced back to the test certificate that verifies its authenticity and compliance with ASTM standards
