The original 'Blockbuster' kit, Rosso Grande introduced home winemakers to just how powerful and bold a red could be. Fifteen years later, it's still the most full-bodied and intense red wine kit ever released!
Rosso Grande has an inky purple-red hue that presages an intense burst of dark fruit, chewy flavors of blackberry and cherry held in the grip of supremely silky tannins, mouth-filling and lush, supported by elegant notes of vanilla, toast, and smoke that continue on into a finish that combines power, finesse, and amazing length.
While this wine is tempting to drink right away because of the richness of the fruit, it develops its full potential in your cellar, showing off ever more layers of tannins, fruit, and elegance. Serve with intensely flavored dishes such as roasts or grilled steaks, and especially lamb or venison.
En Primeur Winery Series showcases the expertise and commitment to carry on the age-old winemaking traditions as practiced in the finest grape-growing areas of the world.
**Includes grape skins**
