• Indian ink is a black ink used for writing, drawing and wash painting (which involves diluting the ink to obtain different colour intensities).
• It is used with a glass nib, a reed pen, a brush, a quill pen, a nib holder and a reservoir marker. It becomes shiny as it dries.
• It is indelible (does not fade), resists water and most solvents. Artists appreciate it for the permanence of the colour it brings.
• French made
