Komasa Jyozo, a favorite shochu distiller of ours in Kagoshima, makes this delightful gin by redistilling one of their rice shochus and blends it with a selection of individually distilled botanicals, including komikan (baby-tiny mandarin oranges).These Komikan are baby-tiny mandarin oranges that grows on Sakurajima, Kagoshima's very active volcano.
