Lettuce Seeds - Romaine / COS - Petite Rouge - 4 Oz ~100,000 Seeds - Lactuca sativa - Farm & Garden Vegetable Seeds - Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated, Annual

Petite Rouge Romaine/Cos Lettuce Seeds. Non GMO. Annual. Open Pollinated. Lactuca sativa. 70 days. Petite Rouge lettuce seeds mature into a beautifully speckled bronze leaf used often for garnishing and quick 7-10 microgreens. Depending on frequency of harvests and fertilizing, Petite Rouge cos lettuce matures 6-10 inches tall and 8-10 inches wide. Produces a slightly smaller head compared to Iceberg varieties, but boasts soft and tender Bibb-like leaves. Harvest outer leaves first to allow Petite Rouge to continue maturing, growing new tender growth on the inside of the plant. Because lettuce seeds do not mature to produce fruit, Petite Rouge thrives from nitrogen rich fertilizers that promote vegetative growth over fruiting. Ideal for garden beds, containers, and window boxes. About 28,000 seeds per OZ.
