- Features: This drain plug bolt eliminates the need for full oil pan replacement due to stripped threads. Featuring a standard M14.1-1.5 x 15mm thread design, its precise specifications perfectly match the original drain bolt's dimensions and functionality, saving you significant time and money.
- Dual Sealing: The drain plug bolt kit features a fluorocarbon O-ring and a red copper washer. This dual-seal design ensures oil leakage is completely eliminated. The fluorocarbon ring resists oil and high temperatures, while the red copper washer adapts to pressure changes, offering greater reliability than the original rubber washer.
- Easy Installation: Thoroughly clean the oil pan threaded area, ensuring no residual oil remains in the threaded hole or surrounding area. Screw the auxiliary plug into the hole, rotate clockwise several turns, then counterclockwise several turns. Once the plug bottoms out, slowly remove it. Clean any metal shavings around the hole. Use a T-handle socket wrench to tighten the large plug screw, then finally screw in the small plug screw to complete installation.
- Set includes: 1× Magnetic Oil Drain Bolt, 2× Fluorocarbon O-Rings, 2× Red Copper Gaskets, and 1× Hex Key. Suitable for multiple maintenance sessions. Note: When repairing oil pan threads with these tools, ensure the tap is precisely aligned perpendicular to the oil pan. Improper alignment may cause oil leaks.
