Remove the bolts that hold the stock latches. 2. Use the provided gaskets to protect your hood finish. 3. Mount the bottom of latch, by dismantling the locking bolts. 4. Mount the top of latch, by removing two bolts and installing new one. 5. Positioning can be adjustable for proper fitment. Installation complete! Note: 1. Package come with different Padding for JK and JL, the silicone pad with "J-K" is compatible with JK/JKU, the silicone pad with "J-L" is compatible with JL/JLU and gladiator. Please check before installing. 2. After installing, it must be used by locking the hood pin. If you don't lock the pin, it won't catch firmly and it will just pop off and open.
