Mountaineers Books 100 Best CC Ski Trails WA 3E

Authors and expert cross-country skiers Vicky Spring and Tom Kirkendall have carefully selected the best 100 cross-country ski trails in the state. The authors offer advice on technique, equipment, camping areas, sno-parks and huts, and outdoor safety. Trail descriptions include types of uses, surface descriptions, difficulty ratings, mileage and skiing time, elevation gain, best time to go, and map suggestions. The access to each trail is described in detail, as are the trails themselves.

From an easy three-mile tour on Hurricane Hill in the Olympics to Echo Valley, a difficult five-mile trail near Chelan, to terrific overnighters, there's something for everyone in this book.
