MSR Basecamp Snow Construction Saw

The Basecamp snow saw delivers 65 cm of powerful cutting efficiency to those building the wind barricades and snow shelters of winter basecamps. Its unique blade profile combines with an aggressive tooth design to rip and remove snow fast. But don't let its mighty appearance fool you. The Basecamp saw is lightweight and offers the crucial rigidity of a single-blade saw, delivering trusted safety performance through even the hardest conditions.

• Aggressive: Non-linear blade delivers an ultra-efficient cutting pattern, while laser-cut teeth rip snow and ice in both directions, and voids between teeth remove debris from path.
• Strong: Durable, lightweight 7075 aluminum blade.
• Rigid: Secure, low-profile locking pin holds reliably through hardpack conditions, and increases stiffness.
• Compact: Folds its long reach to half its size for ultimate packability and backcountry practicality.
• Comes in a welded gear-protecting sheath
