National Plant Network Gladioli Cornelli Bulbs (10-Pack)

National Plant Network's grower approved selections take the guesswork out of gardening. This stunning gladiolus features tall spikes of ruffled, vibrant orange blooms with a soft creamy throat that add a warm and energetic vertical element to any summer border or cutting garden. These vigorous plants thrive in sunny locations and produce long lasting flower spikes that are perfect for creating bold indoor floral arrangements throughout the warmest months of the year. Gladiolus bulbs arrive in a dormant state and appear as small, firm corms that are ready to sprout once the spring soil remains consistently warm. For the best results, soak your corms in water for several hours to rehydrate them before planting about four to six inches deep with the pointed end facing upward in well drained soil that receives plenty of sunlight. After planting, sword like green foliage will emerge followed by tall flower stalks that deliver a spectacular display of color in mid summer. These bulbs offer an economical way to enjoy high impact garden displays and can be successfully overwintered in colder zones by digging up the corms and storing them in a cool, dark, frost free location once the foliage has turned brown.
