- Pre Surgery Drink - Specifically designed for patients undergoing surgery, Optivive is a "clear" liquid meal to prepare your body for the stress and rigors the body will endure. It's a pre surgery beverage that provides fast-digesting energy, immune support, discomfort relief, and ingredients to help aid in a period of convalescence
- Chemotherapy Wellness Support - Optivive contains Manuka honey for it's many wellness benefits that support chemotherapy patients. Its hydration and immediate fuel source energize patients facing fatigue and brain fog. Other natural ingredients soothe discomfort and support skin and hair rejuvenation, helping patients feel stronger
- Colonoscopy Prep Diet Support - Optivive provides all the nutrition patients need while undergoing the "clear" liquid phase of the colonoscopy preparation 24 hours before the procedure. Patients are weakened by poor caloric intake and loss of fluids with the laxatives used. Optivive provides all the nutrients contained in regular meals as well as hydration. This keeps patients energized before, during, and after the colonoscopy procedure
- Optivive is in the clear liquid category. It has similar clarity to some of the most well-known sports drink products that are recommended and successfully used for colonoscopy and surgical preparation
- Optivive contains no artificial dyes or colors. Its color comes from the all-natural ingredients. Artificial dyes and colors, particularly red ones, are prohibited in colonoscopy prep beverages, making Optivive an excellent choice as a prep drink
- Optivive conducted a 424-patient survey with zero reports of it interfering with colonoscopies or surgeries*. It’s been successfully used in nearly 1000 surgical and colonoscopy patients. *Optivive Post -Operative Survey on 424 consecutive patients, January 2024- September 2025
- How Optivive Helps - It contains the rapidly absorbed sugar Maltodextrin and eight energy-generating ingredients, providing the body with an immediate fuel source to burn during surgery. This leaves the reserve stores, which usually are burned during surgery, available for post-operative needs. By loading up with it prior to surgery or procedures, these agents are ready to work for you
- Optivive's Origin Story - Optivive was developed over four years by Michael S. Beckenstein, M.D., a surgeon with 25 years of experience supporting surgical patients. He recognized nutrition's critical role in regaining vitality and created it for his health journey. Since then, Optivive has proven beneficial for pre-surgery, chemotherapy patients, colonoscopy prep, and beyond
