The Perception Solo Mount Base screws directly into the moulded recesses built into compatible Perception kayaks, giving you a secure, stable platform for RAM accessories without touching a drill. It's the foundation of a three-part mounting system: this base, a RAM arm (sold separately), and a device-specific RAM mount (sold separately). That combination covers an impressive range of accessories including phone and tablet holders, cameras, fish finders, rod holders, and cup holders, all swappable as your setup evolves.

A couple of things worth knowing before you order. This is the 1.5-inch base, referred to by RAM as Size C. When shopping for compatible RAM arms and mounts, make sure they're rated for a Size C ball. Some RAM bundles include a base that won't work with this screw-in system, so select the arm and mount separately to pair with this base. RAM's website includes a helpful tool for matching the right mount to your specific device.
