This book has been in our family since its printing in 1948. It is signed in in on inside cover by its first owner. First Edition, published by Alfred A. Knopf, 510 pages cloth bound book in good condition, small fraying and wear on corners, and cover engraving has worn so it is not very visible. Measures 8 3/4" tall and 5 3/4" wide

"THE HOLY SINNER" Translated from the German by H.T. Lowe-Porter and published by Knopf in 1951. This First Edition has been in our family since it's printing in 1951. It is signed on inside cover by its first owner and has pencil marks on front and back inside covers. The binding is in excellent condition and shows minimal wear for its age. It's 336 pages and cloth bound, the gold on the binding has largely worn off but the front engraving is still visible. Measures 7 3/4" tall and 5 1/4" wide.
