- HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS - The Reinsman Josey-Mitchell Copper Long Shank Dogbone Bit is made from a combination of copper and sweet iron, which encourages salivation and acceptance of the bit; The "Sweet and Sour" twisted design provides a unique, textured pressure that is noticeable but not severe
- ADVANCED CONTROL - This racing bit's 9-inch long shanks provide significant leverage, while its Gag Action offers a warning signal before full pressure is applied, making it suitable for chargy horses that are difficult to rate and stop during a high-speed run
- TRANSITION STAGE - As a designated Stage E bit in the Reinsman system, this tool is strictly for specialized correction and should only be used by experienced riders, as its powerful mechanics can be easily misunderstood by both horse and rider if not applied with expert hands
- SWEET & SOUR EFFECT - The complex mouthpiece combines a central copper dogbone to encourage salivation with twisted wire bars; That creates a "sweet and sour" effect that applies focused pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth for a highly responsive feel from an experienced horse
- CO-DESIGNED BY LEGEND TEAM - The Reinsman Josey-Mitchell Bit is developed in collaboration with barrel racing World Champion and renowned clinician Martha Josey; This bit is built on proven, real-world training principles used in her clinics, schools, seminars, and competitions worldwide
