Saana Rug

This hand knotted rug is made from pure sheep wool, hand dyed and knotted to a thick pile to offer long-lasting quality that is a testament to its artisanal excellence. 

 ‘Saana' is based on a painting made by Saana Mirzaie. Having lost years of her life to mental illness, Mirzaie discovered that immersing herself in drawing and painting allowed her the outlet she needed. Her goal is to tell the story of her tumultuous life. The Saana rug symbolises that Mirzaie is finally healthy, and reminds the brave artist that her decision to follow her heart has proved to be good.
