The Salomon S/Lab MTN Alpine Touring Ski Boots returns for the 23/24 season, continuing to offer a proven and straightforward design for backcountry skiers looking for a powerful, user-friendly all-mountain touring boot. As one of the first boots to offer a powerful 120 flex in the dedicated backcountry category, the S/Lab MTN has managed to establish an outstanding reputation for its impressive durability and performance. One of the key features of the S/Lab MTN is Salomon's full Custom Shell HD heat molding technology. This feature allows bootfitters to easily and rapidly widen the forefoot, which comes pre-set at a width of 98mm. This level of customization ensures that skiers can achieve an impeccable fit, tailored to their specific foot shape and size.
S/Lab MTN boots also feature the Surelock ski/walk mechanism, a system that stands out for its simplicity and effectiveness. Switching between ski and walk mode is a seamless process and the clever design of the Surelock mechanism ensures that it stays neatly tucked under the pant cuff during use, preventing ice build-up and protecting it from potential impacts while touring. Overall, the Salomon S/Lab MTN Alpine Touring Ski Boot represents a pinnacle of reliability, user-friendliness, and performance in the realm of backcountry touring. These boots offer the ideal balance of durability, customizability, and practicality to elevate your skiing adventures to new heights.
