One of the main reasons that the drivetrain system provides the best-shifting characteristics even under load, is the perfectly matched cassette. The cassette and the rear derailleur of the GX Eagle series are designed as integrated and interdependent transmission components that mesh directly with each other to ensure perfect alignment on any bike.

The stronger the rider pedals, the more the Full X-SYNC™ tooth design of the XS-1275 cassette plays out its potential and improves the shifting performance accordingly. With the help of the large 52-tooth sprocket, the 12-speed cassette not only comes to a huge gear range of 520 %, but is also much more durable and precise.

While the so-called design is used for the 8 large sprockets (gear 1 to 8), the one-piece construction improves durability in the area of the 4 smaller sprockets (gear 9 to 12). The nickel coating not only ensures first-class corrosion and wear resistance, but also quieter shifting behavior.
