The Staubli MC4 connector is used for photovoltaic (PV) connections, providing a weather-resistant interface for solar power systems. Compatible with TEMCo 10 or 12 AWG PV cables or any other PV cable with a diameter between 5.5 mm and 7.4 mm. The connectors carry IP65/IP68 ratings, indicating resistance to dust and water, and are designed for use in outdoor environments. Typical uses include photovoltaic (PV) solar panel wiring, residential and commercial solar power system connections, and other outdoor renewable energy installations that require weather-resistant connectors.
- Snap-in locking mechanism for secure, vibration-resistant connections. Low-contact resistance thanks to patented MULTILAM technology.
- Fits 5.5-7.4mm outer diameter of cable
- Requires solar crimping tool for copper terminals. Recommended tool is TEMCo TH0011 (not included)
- IP65/IP68 rated when mated, dust-tight and waterproof
- Rated up to 1500 VDC, with current-carrying capacities up to 50A
