The 2019 Shimano Stella SWC Spinning Reels build upon an already exceptional design, boasting an IPX8 waterproof body, enhanced rigidity, improved impact resistance, and a slight weight reduction. Shimano has refined the reel's smoothness by minimizing internal part play. Featuring Infinity Drive Technology, the new Stella delivers increased torque and 30% more cranking power while maintaining its smooth operation. The HeatSink Drag system offers a maximum of 55 lbs and reduces the risk of overheating-related failures. With improved waterproofing, the reel can withstand full immersion, and the line roller has been reinforced to prevent failures. Ideal for both beach and boat fishing, the Shimano 2019 Stella SWC Spinning Reel is the pinnacle of spinning reels. Available in sizes 4000 to 3000, each model has a unique gear ratio, so choose the one that suits your needs best. We recommend spooling with a thin braid like Max Cuatro for optimal performance. Crafted in Japan, the models are STLSW4000XGC, STLSW5000HGC, STLSW6000HGC, STLSW8000PGC, STLSW8000HGC, STLSW10000PGC, STLSW14000XGC, STLSW18000HGC, STLSW20000PGC, and STLSW30000C.
