Tetris, renowned for its classic gameplay and iconic block-stacking, has teamed up with France's La Poste Groupe to tackle a logistics challenge: space efficiency and sustainability. Over a decade, La Poste has embraced a Tetris-inspired parcel loading method, tripling truck capacity and slashing carbon emissions. By optimizing loading patterns and minimizing waste, La Poste boosted parcel count per truck from 1,500 to 4,500, reducing trucks on the road and fuel consumption, and cutting over 15,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually. With 490 million parcels delivered in France in 2024, the impact is significant. This innovative union was showcased at Vivatech Paris 2025, with CEOs sharing the story and interactive displays at the La Poste booth. This partnership underscores the power of play in driving real-world solutions, with Tetris' efficient fitting strategy now aiding in building a greener future, one parcel at a time.
