The Answer Is – A Guide to the Lost Art of the Answer Record Kindle Edition

Bob Leszczak is a longtime radio personality, actor, singer, historian and author. A New Jersey native, The Answer Is: A Guide to the Lost Art of the Answer Record is Leszczak’s twelfth pop culture book. “Answer Records” all but disappeared in the mid to late 1970s, but they were very prevalent in the 1950s and 1960s. Even avid oldies fans will be amazed at the volume of “Answer Records” included in this work, thus putting another twist on “The Twist,” another ram in the “Rama Lama Ding Dong,” and another boogity in your “Boogity, Boogity Shoop.” Pictures of these answer records are also very abundant. Leszczak’s previous eleven books have either been about classic television or “oldies” music and phonograph records. This one is no exception. It will make a great addition to your trivia bookshelf.Author Bob Leszczak at age two begins collecting vinyl records. Read more
